What is the definition of “tidbit”....tidbit is a delicate bit of information one would like to share with others to be inspiring, and uplifting. So here are “tidbits” to brighten your day. What I believe I was watching the funniest videos and there was a little boy who I believe was about 3 or 4 years old, he told his mother what a wonderful mother she is and how much he loved her and how he wanted to kiss her and how he wanted her to divorce his father and marry him. The mothers response was " What did I tell you? I told you that I would be too old”. My point.... is how sweet and gentle this mother was with her baby. Sometimes as a parent, knowing just the right words to use with children, can make a world of difference in a child’s life.
I was attending a conference and a story was shared with us from one of the ministers. He mentioned how his daughter had written a letter to her sister, sharing with her how she wanted her father to be her friend. The sister shared the information with the father and he loving told his daughter, I love you very much but I can not be your friend I am your father. I will always love you and I will always be your father. The minister had invited that same daughter to accompany him to the conference. That same daughter had the opportunity to witnessed him sharing that story. I believe that was so loving and kind. Both of these stories, are great examples of parents being able to keep perspective with their children in such a loving way. Tidbits worth sharing
